While under homeopathic treatment, you will receive individualized care based on your entire symptom picture which includes the mental, emotional and physical realms. A remedy will be selected that closely matches the totality of your symptoms (constitution). This requires an in-depth first consultation which lasts approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours for ages seven to adult, an hour for children under seven. Follow-up visits are approximately 1 hour. Follow-up appointments are scheduled approximately 4 weeks after the initial consultation and 6 weeks thereafter as necessary. Homeopathy works gently over a period of time and the goal is to assist you in your healing journey. The duration of treatment will depend upon the severity of complaints, outside influences, and environmental factors.
In acute situations, Homeopathy reduces pain and swelling, as well as shortens the healing period for a variety of ailments. Sudden emotional trauma, grief and acute illnesses are included in this list. If you have a complaint that repeatedly recurs, that would be considered part of your constitutional treatment.
